Do Not Let Your Hearts Be Troubled

The Wilmington Celebration Choir brought us to the throne of God for our third night of revival.  Someone shared a message from God, He has seen our tears, heard our cries and shall accomplish all that He said He would. Pastor Brian Rogers began with, “I recognize my limitations and frailties so I ask God to take up where I leave off.” God took off!  “Something Is About To Happen” and even though no one knows the date or time, Pastor Brian says it is closer today than yesterday!

Matthew 24: 6-7 “And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.”

Why do we need to know and think about end times?  If we think Jesus is coming soon we are more likely to live a life of holiness and take it seriously. This is not a time to be a lazy Christian but a time for the church to stand up.  Romans 12: 11, “not lagging in diligence, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord…” The Bible is not to scare but prepare. The only escape route is Jesus Christ!

1 Thessalonians 4: 13-18, “For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord.  Therefore comfort one another with these words.”  The Great Director in the sky will say, “Son, Go bring my children Home!”

You could hear a pin drop when we heard trumpets sounding!  “One day that will become a reality”, Pastor Brian told us. You could feel excitement and peace as we sang, “soon and very soon, we are going to see the King.”  Someone said this was a glimpse of Heaven!

If you don’t know Jesus Christ as your personal Savior, I encourage you to make the best decision of your life!  Thank you, Pastor Brian, for transforming lives here at PVMC!
