Happy Birthday, Jesus!

Father God, I love you and adore you!  This morning I want to say happy birthday, Jesus!  This morning I want to celebrate Jesus, His birth, and His life!  Thank you for sending Your Son to earth, in human form, to feel all of the emotions we would experience.  Thank You for bringing life and hope to us all!  Thank You, Jesus, for dying on the cross for my sins.  Thank You, Jesus, for rising from the dead three days later so that every Christmas, we can celebrate the gift of eternal life!

We live in a broken world that needs good news!  Make that good news real in our hearts.  Let us remember that You never change.  Your Word tells us that Your love never changes.  You are a constant in our life!  God, “help me be filled with the wonder of Mary, the obedience of Joseph, the joy of the angels, the eagerness of the shepherds, the determination of the magi, and the peace of the Christ child.”    

I wait with anticipation for your return, to see Jesus face to face!  Until then, help me to further Your Kingdom.  Help me to use my resources wisely, to serve You!  Help me to shine Your light brightly!  And don’t let me go anywhere where Your Presence is not with me!
